Dan Berzansky has lived in Orange County since the age of 7. He grew up in Irvine attending University High
School where he swam and played Water Polo. After a successful high school swimming career, Dan swam on scholarship for
Division I Stony Brook University in Long Island NY. Dan was captain of the men’s team his Junior and Senior year at Stony
Brook and was a 5 time conference champion. Dan’s’ staple events were the 50 and 100 freestyle, and 100 butterfly.
After graduating from Stony Brook University, Dan returned home where he became the Aquatics Director for the new Merage JCC in Irvine. Through the JCC, Dan started the OC Waves Swim Team, a USS Club program that has produced scores of highly successful swimmers. In 2007, Dan was promoted to Games Director for the 2007 JCC Maccabi Games, the largest single youth sporting event in in North America. In 2008 Dan was named Program Director of the JCC Maccabi Experience and Special Programming, a role he continued to hold until leaving the JCC in 2010.
In all, Dan has over 14 years of coaching experience as well as over 11 years of experience in the recreation field with a focus on project management. In addition, Dan also has over 12 years of experience as an instructor for the American Red Cross where he teaches classes ranging from CPR, to Lifeguarding and First Aid.
Dan earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. He currently resides in Laguna Niguel with his wife Jordana and his daughter Avrah.
Dan’s company, Premier Recreation Services, currently provides services to Emerald Bay Community Association, the City of Aliso Viejo, Kemper Sports Management, and Irvine Company Apartment Communities.
Operations & Event Manager
Lindsay grew up in Irvine, California and graduated from California State University, Long Beach with
a degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design. Since the age of 3 Lindsay has been a
swimmer. Lindsay swam on a local summer swim team growing up. Lindsay went on to coach summer
league swimming in Irvine and in college went on to manage a local year round swim school and swim
Lindsay joined the Premier Recreation Services team in 2011, with the goal of creating exciting, fun and safe events and programs for kids. Lindsay is proud to say that her job is to create FUN!
Lindsay, her husband Ted, and her kids Jack & Hudson live in Aliso Viejo, where they are very active in their community and city.
Program Manager, Aquatics and Health and Safety Services
Ryan Larson has over 20 years of experience in the aquatics. As a collegiate swimmer, swim instructor, lifeguard, and coach, Ryan has had the opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced coaches and instructors, giving him a unique vantage point in the aquatics world. Ryan competed for Concordia University in Irvine, where he earned his Bachelors in Communications. Ryan is currently a graduate assistant on the swim team at Concordia University, and is working towards his MBA.
Director of Camp Services
Stacy Martin grew up in Irvine and has worked throughout the city for the past 14 years for various on-site after school programs and seasonal camps, including Rainbow Rising, CDC Inc. and most recently the City of Irvine, where she was the Middle School Program Senior Leader of Recreation, Sports, and Camps. Stacy truly believes “Kids that stay busy with positive activities tend to have less time engaging in unhealthy ones.”
Stacy is also very passionate about helping those in need. She has noticed that kids that become involved in their school and community, tend to be more responsible, dependable, and social.
Stacy and her son, Seth, reside in Irvine. Seth, being a freshman in high school, keeps his mom busy through his active life which includes baseball and hockey.
